Great product but would be nice if it had 3 brake rollers instead of just 2! Just not enough holding strength with 2.
I bought the elevated max a year ago while my garage addition was being built. I just placed an order for another one so now when people stop by and help with projects I’m working on they can sit in a comfortable chair! These are the best built garage chairs I’ve seen.

Love the chair. Very sturdy and well made. The only drawback I have is that the seat back could be bigger. It doesn’t hit your back in the right spot and I almost fell out of the chair the first time I used it. I most likely will order the side arms for my birthday present in November.

Assembly was straightforward and easy. Without a doubt, the most comfortable chair I have ever owned. The chair elevates to a height that helps relieve the back pain I have suffered for the past 8 years.
Shop Diesel Mechanic Approved! Needed a seat with adjustable height for working low around equipment as well as elevated for working at my computer kiosk. I also weld regularly at the work bench, and this elevated model does it all. The EZ Lift makes elevation adjustments super quick, and the gas shock adds some suspension to the seat. Waited for some time to pull the trigger, but glad I finally did. This Area 51 Bronco edition looks awesome. Worth the money.

I was tired of the absolute GARBAGE for work bench seating I had been enduring at my place of employment for the past eight years. I decided to investigate your product line of adjustable height work stools. The Elevated Steel Max fit the profile I was looking for. Straight forward assembly….except…the wheel assembly took much more force than I expected …rhe “newer” nuts were easy until the bolt contacted the “plastic “ locking material I was hesitant to proceed until I contacted your staff Definitely needed much more force Also ….does the dial on the base of the seating cylinder serve any purpose? Thanks
amazing quality of components. but i did have an issue with a hole pattern lining up while assembling the chair. the machining was off- i contacted them and they were willing to send new parts right away. high quality chair.
Its nice. However the wheel locks i ordered did not work with it. They will not lock the wheel.

Th8s chair far excited my expectations. This chair is built to last. I'm a woodworker and this is a perfect fit in my shop. For the places I need to us a higher chair and a lower chair this is perfect. With all the colors and limited editions I want to become a VYPER chair collector now. Spend once and you'll never cry. This Viper product is incredibly well built and a great addition to my wood shop! I do have a couple of suggestions however. 1. The written instructions were pretty much useless. The video instructions were very helpful however. I prefer well written instructions because I have to keep starting and stopping the videos as I progress. 2. My kit had a couple small packages of nuts and washers that were left over when I finished and were not included in the listed in the "parts included". 3. All of the parts were well protected in the shipping box and arrived with no damage however the use of the large amount of white styrofoam used was disappointing. Apart from the environmental concerns about this "forever plastic" it is a huge pain to break up and put in the garbage with tiny pieces floating around every where! The garbage truck lifts the can up into the truck and invariably small pieces fly out and litter the area. This forces me to break it all up and put in garbage bags before putting in the garbage can. PLEASE consider going to one of the bio degradable paper based products that many other companies are now using.

The chair was easy to put together, all metal was deblurred before powder coating , all hardware was in number seal bags for easy installation. Purple and matte black looks great , seat and backrest and with added purple stitching shows USA quality workmanship. Five caster systems = STABLE ! Would like to see added height for more adjustment and have the option for matching color for the adjustable back rest. Thanks to the Viper Team !
My elevated chair came exactly as I expected, except The add ons came in all black ( adjustable back rest & adjustable arm rests) for my red chair.

Absolutely as advertised ! beautifully built, heavyweight quality, Glides on the floor like a hovercraft! Assembly is well laid out, but that said -you will have to allocate patients in time. ( well I did ) . Great Quality! If the hydraulic piston seems like it’s aircraft quality.
Absolutely love my Vyper chairs that I bought for my Welding shop. All of my employees like them too. In the past few months I have bought about 10 chairs if not more. I even stopped in Kaukauna, WI and bought a chair off the show room floor and ordered another one besides that one! Vyper chairs are nice, heavy duty chairs and have many colors to choose from!
Great stool. Very comfortable. The back could be a bit wider. And it would be great if there was some sort of handle you could grab to temporarily lock the wheels while you sit down on it so it doesn’t tend to go scooting away from you. It’s much better than the old stationary four legged high top chair that I was using before.

The elevated steel max is killer old school material turned into a modern design. I really am impressed by how solid and well built it is. Nothing chintzy like the imported crap from overseas. It’ll outlast me and probably my grandkids. I admit I choked for a bit at the price, but I’m all about Made in the USA and not the least bit disappointed, quite to the contrary, I really love it. Honest answer: if your current stool works for you, doesn't hurt your back, doesn't tip when you reach, doesn't have foam that's flat, and isn't on its way to the dumpster within a year or two, you don't need to upgrade.
