It’s heavy duty , well built and completely satisfied. That coming from a big man 6’ 3” and 340 pounds. Well worth the price 😎
Great strong chair. Very comfortable
Very good quality industrial grade product, makes working on cars a little more enjoyable, as the son of an Army soldier I support businesses owned and operated by former military. Expensive but one will last you the rest of your life. Or keep buying the “cheap” options from Amazon every time one breaks. Thanks Vyper
It took a couple of hours but the low pro with bundled accessories came together nicely. Extremely solid and well built. Do not attempt to build this without a ratcheting socket set. Having a short extension is a good idea as well. When putting the seat base on the low boy double check the “tabs” for the center support piece are still inserted correctly into their slots. If not, and you tighten down the top, trouble awaits. The you tube instruction video is a huge help, watch them. Background production music comes in hot but fight through it. Didn’t see a video for the accessory bundle (didn’t look intensely), the instructions are a bit lacking but not hard to figure out. Plan on using the alternate castor spacers and alternate lug nuts. Otherwise you are trying to put the stock ones on only to take them off, wasting time. Assembly time with accessories for me, 2 1/2 hours. I could build another in an hour.
These are high quality shop stools. I have used both of these in my garage. I added a tool tray to the chair, a good add. I think I’ll add the expanded seat at some point. I am very happy with this purchase, it was expensive, but the quality is definitely there. I have no regrets on spending the money. These will last well past my time.

ORDER #138825VI I love the stool design/construction/hardware. However, only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the custom stool pad mounting posts were missing when the shipment was received. I was finally able (after a few attempts) to get the missing posts sent to my home. They arrived recently and all-good! I would have also then expected a larger than normal discount for future purchases than general $25 considering the issue above. I just made another purchase today (ORDER #140674VI) wherein I utilized the $25 discount noted above (was hoping for more). ;) /r Mr. Kerry Christofferson
This is a great stool, and I think it will eliminate a lot of backaches. I do wish the space under the seat was just a touch higher so my bottles of detailing product would fit under there. Also - I wish you would state the true shipping expectations on the website. I had a choice of when to order this and I postponed ordering because the website stated it would ship in 1-4 business days and I was going to be out of town. I could've purchased this much earlier if I knew it was going to take over two weeks to ship instead of the 1-4 business days stated on the website. I actually postponed ordering it (it was a gift) and then it was VERY late for the occasion I was gifting it.

I love this chair. I waited for the Tribute to come around and I’m glad I did. The finish and the canvas seat is exactly what I wanted. It is very solid and looks awesome. I love that the seat top pulls off too. My only complaint is the 2 month wait after they take your money. But I am very happy with it.
Good quality materials. Should last for generations
The chairs may seem expensive but if you are any kind of craftsman you can appreciate the quality of the components they manufacture. After assembling my first chair I bought five years ago I felt a lot better about what I paid for it. Since then three of my friends that saw and sat in my chair immediately purchased one of themselves. Personall purchases are the following. Tall welding chair Rectangle stool Creeper ( if you have a sloped driveway you might want to keep in mind they roll too well sometimes. I had to use motorcycle straps to tie it off while I was working on my bronco. Very comfortable creeper.) And recently the chair and stool trio.

Much better than the 20 years old cheap adjustable stools I have replaced Casters on and tipped over on many times...This Non- adjustable stool rolls Easily and is Extremely Stable..Purchased the Extended Height deluxe Chair for my Variable Height needs...Very Happy with both products...Decided I was worth finally buying quality Stools and Chair as my body gets older..
Not that they’re designed for such things, but I wouldn’t hesitate to rebuild an engine on these things! I’m convinced these are the best built butt supports on Earth

Its a perfect chair for what I use it for. I love the way it rolls over uneven surfaces.
I had a shop stool that I used for many years in spite of it's tendency to tip or roll freely on it's tiny wheels. The Vyper chair commercial on TV intrigued me enough to check out the website and the Fully Loaded Low-Pro stool looked ideal for my garage. I hesitated a bit because of the price but at my wife's urging I placed an order. The stool is just about perfect: sturdy, well built, and the casters roll over any surface. Love the extra storage and the padded seat and backrest are so much better than my prior unit. When you are finished assembling the stool you can't help but admire it. The only "con" I can come up with is the difficulty in threading on some of the nuts. They are designed to stay secure but a considerable amount of effort is required to install them, especially the larger bolts/nuts. That's my only complaint. Everything fits perfectly and works like it should. I'll be using this product for many years.

This chair is legit. I contemplated buying it because of the price but you get what you pay for. This chair will last the rest of my life. I love seeing the ‘Made in USA 🇺🇸’ tag because it reminds me of what I used to see on products. Which to me means quality. This chair is absolutely quality!
Recieved chairs and was exactly what I was expecting!!! Very well built with a great finish. (Black & red) Have already put to good use as I'm a diesel/auto tech... I was looking for something that would last me a lifetime and made in the USA. And I'm pretty sure I got both! Yes they are pricey but think about all the junk that's sold from overseas. (Junk) You get what you pay for and these will be around for many years... I will be purchasing a work cart next!
Initial packaging is very cool. Make it a fun garage night assembling them. If you buy multiple products they ship on different days and can get to you on different days. Once you open the box the magic really happens. Parts are packaged well and when you start handling them, you realizing how heavy duty they are made. Instructions are straight forward and I like they send you assembly videos via email or you can go to the website. BE PATIENT! And DO NOT! tighten anything all the way till the end of the instructions. I found myself going back to losen alot of Bolts to even things out. Over all, I felt like a kid again putting together Legos, I know the price is high ,but you will never have to by again to replace. Which makes me sad.

While I will say that the parts are quality, the assembly process is a pain in the butt. For the money, the chairs should come more assembled. The back rest is too low and does not support your back very well. The foot ring is much too big of a diameter and I keep tripping on it. On the low stool, putting the wheels on was ridiculous. No self locking nut should require that much torque to put on. Absolutely inexcusable. yes, I found the package of nuts that were easier to put on after hours with the hard ones. The material is much too heavy. I would have returned them if I had not thrown the packaging away already. Redesign your product.
Father’s Day gift from my wife!
Assembled product is SOLID! Had a problem with caster wheel nuts/bolts. They were different thread count and nuts would not thread onto bolts. They sent replacement nuts/bolts within a few days and now I have what will likely be the last shop stool I ever buy. Had to subtract a point/star for the nut/bolt issue. Love the fact that it's made in the USA!!!

A Vyper limited edition is a one-time small-batch run of an existing product (chair, stool, creeper, or cart) in a named colorway, finish, or collaboration design, for example: Ghoul (glow-in-the-dark), Phantom (color-shift chameleon), Sublime (green), Voodoo, Scorch, Joker, Vein, Tribute (military canvas), and Warrior 2.0 (hot pink).
We also have an existing line of collaborations with Vyper x Realtree® and Vyper x Hendrick Motorsports that are always available.
Each limited edition features unique embroidery, custom badges, exclusive stickers and a specific colorway you won't find in the standard lineup. The underlying build (steel frame, casters, foam, mechanisms, capacity, warranty) is identical to the standard product.
Once a Vyper limited edition sells out, it does not restock. That's the point, small batch, no second runs. Buyers who miss a drop have to wait for the next release, which will be a different colorway or collaboration entirely.
There are two different styles of limited editions: time based and quantity based.
Some editions we will run where it’s first come first serve (quantity based). Other times we will run a limited colorway for a certain amount of time (time based). If you miss the cutoff, there’s no going back.
Occasionally we will re-release a previously sold-out edition as a special return (for example, "Scorch, Joker, Volt, Shocker and Viola are back" was a one-time encore drop, called out as a last-chance opportunity). But the default policy is one-and-done. If you see a limited edition in stock and you want it, lock it in.
No. The build is identical to the standard product. A limited edition Robust Steel Max is the same Robust Steel Max underneath: same powder-coated steel frame, same 3.5" industrial foam, same lumbar-support backrest, same 400 lb capacity, same 5-caster anti-tip base, same lifetime warranty on the frame.
What changes is the finish: custom powdercoat color, custom embroidery, custom badges, and specific accent colors on hardware and stitching. You're getting the same chair Chip Foose, Jay Leno and Gas Monkey Garage use, just in a finish that won't be made again.
The fastest way is signing up for the Vyper email list and following @vyperchair on Instagram and YouTube, limited editions are announced usually 1 to 2 weeks before the drop with the exact date and time. Most drops go live at 9 AM CST on the announced date.
High-demand drops frequently sell out within hours. Customers on the email list get the announcement first, which is the difference between getting the chair and not.
Yes. Limited edition chairs are compatible with the full Vyper accessory lineup (armrests, backrests, EZ-Lift, Big Boy attachment, tool trays, footrails, Sidekick). Many limited editions offer matching-color accessories during the drop window; once the drop closes, accessories may only be available in standard colors.
