A remarkably robust yet comfortable rolling shop stool with an adjustable back support and bomb-proof, go-everywhere, casters. Heavy gage materials and hardware throughout and easy to assemble. It is just as advertised and undoubtedly the toughest piece of shop equipment furniture I can imagine.
Received the stool in a timely manner. Well packaged. Easy to assemble. Just doesn’t feel like $500 - that’s my only take away. I like it but I feel it’s over priced
Laser cut, powder coated, TIG welded, CNC machined, perfect threads, deburred holes, precise part fitment, and the hardware! Grade 8, flanged, deformed locking nuts (better than nyloc, IMO), sized appropriately.
This all ads up to an extremely sturdy, no-slop, smooth rolling, very supportive stool that I can sit on for hours. I'm 6' 4", 200lbs, and have the stool set up fairly high for a 38-42" work surface. It doesn't wobble even a little bit. There ends up being two levels of foot rests which lets me change my leg position, and with the small but sturdy back support I can opt to sit upright or lean on it for lower back/lumbar support.
The wheels are very good too. They don't leave marks, and they are quiet on my vinyl plank floor. The diameter of the base is narrow enough to be nimble and tuck between desk legs, but wide enough to where there is no worry of tipping.
I cannot believe how sturdy this stool is. And it looks good too.
I had high expectations, since this is the most expensive stool I've ever purchased. But opening the box and putting it together I was delighted that my high expectations were not high enough.
