It is always handy to have the tool you need right there when you need it. This tool tray gets that done for me.
My husband absolutely loves this chair for the workshop. He’s on the bigger side so the wider seat was great. Yesterday he commented on how sturdy and amazing the casters were on the chair. He can roll around very easy which is a plus because he is limited in walking and this makes it so easy for him. He only had two suggestions and those were to make the back rest maybe a little wider in length and width and to make the back rest adjustable in height. He’s a tall guy so making it adjustable would have been nice. I put it together by myself and it was easy. I gave this to him as a gift and he was truly surprised. I was also thankful for all the help I got in ordering it on the phone and then picking it up. Thank you, Nancy Hutchinson

Tool tray is heavy duty
I absolutely love the product. It is way ahead of snap on tools. You guys have built some heavy duty equipment. They don’t even match the snap on stuff. Keep doing what you’re doing guys. We’ll buy some more stuff off of you.
I wish it would have come with the chair, although taking the wheels and braces off and adding the tray was only a 15 minute task, it was still unnecessary work if you would have sent them together. One star off for the inconvenience.

Although I just assembled the chair the other day, I absolutely love it already. I have a paver driveway, and when I detail my cars, the stool that I used previously would topple over sometimes. All WORK Stools and Chairs need a tray to put tools, supplies, etc within easy reach of the Job being done...This tray should come with the Chair instead of being a Add - On.. Works and Installed as Expected..

Well, the tray looks nice but my chair is still being made because I got a limited edition.
All I have is the tray. I won’t receive the chair until September that the tray is for. That said, the tray appears to be well made and will be a very positive addition to my chair later this year.

$100 for what seems like an afterthought is a little outrageous. the chair legs get in the way and for a $650 chair it should just come with the tool tray. no extra add-on bs
I love this chair so much it is so awesome!!! I got the realtree version and should have gotten the seat pad and the back rest pad in realtree camo to match with the rest of the chair.

This tray is great. I bought the chair and tray for my husband for a birthday present. At first he was disappointed that it doesn't spin but then he figured out that you can grab the bar and spin the wheels to get the tray to move. Even with him sitting on it (250lbs) the wheels move to spin the tray. Great product!
I haven't received my chair yet. Just the tool tray. I think it will probably be a must have product when I get my chair. Really not sure why they just sent that by itself.

When I p!aced my ordered it said the order would ship in 1 to 4 working day and the tool tray did but the chair took 9 days to ship so I haven't been able to try the tray out because the rest of my order hasn't gotten delivered yet.

What accessories are available for Vyper chairs and stools?
The most-purchased Vyper accessories are the Adjustable Backrest, Adjustable Armrest, Big Boy, Tool Tray, and Sidekick. Each one solves a specific problem:
- Adjustable Backrest: Replaces the stock backrest with a 10° tilt and 4" of height adjustment, for buyers who want to dial in lumbar support exactly.
- Adjustable Armrest: A solid grip for sitting down and standing up, and most importantly, to improve posture / stability.
- Big Boy: Adds 7" of seat width, for larger frame buyers or anyone who wants more room and stability.

What's the difference between the Sidekick and the Tool Tray, and do I need both?
The Sidekick mounts on the side of the chair for what you're actively using (spray bottles, polishers, microfibers, a cold drink), while the Tool Tray bolts underneath for what you've already used or what might fall (loose bolts, dropped sockets, shop rags, small parts).
They're built to work together, not against each other. Detailers and fabricators who run the Complete Package (Robust Steel Max + Tool Tray + Sidekick) consistently say the two-accessory combo turns the chair into a real mobile workstation. Sidekick at hand for the polisher you're using right now, Tool Tray below for the spent microfibers and parts. If you can only pick one, the Tool Tray is the accessory most buyers later say they wish they'd added from day one.
Can I use the Big Boy and the Sidekick together on the same chair?

The decision is usually clean. If you're a larger-frame buyer (or an older buyer wanting more leverage when standing), get the Big Boy. If you're a detailer, fabricator, or anyone who works with supplies at the seat all day, get the Sidekick. The Adjustable Backrest, Adjustable Armrest, and Tool Tray all work with either choice, so you don't lose any other accessories by picking one over the other.
Is the Adjustable Backrest worth the upgrade over the stock backrest?
For most buyers, the stock backrest is built right and works exactly as designed. The Adjustable Backrest is the upgrade for the buyer who lives in the chair, taller height range, up to 10° of recline, and the ability to dial in the support position to your specific body and the way you actually work.
Roughly half of buyers add it during initial chair configuration. The other half buy it months later, after deciding they want to fine-tune the backrest position even further. Reviewers consistently describe it as the upgrade that turns the chair from "comfortable" into "I never want to get up." Who should buy the Big Boy attachment?
The Big Boy adds 7" of additional seat width, built for two specific buyers: larger-frame customers (280 lbs and up, or anyone who finds the standard seat too narrow) and older buyers who want more leverage when sitting down and standing up.

Can I add Vyper accessories to a chair I already own?

Which Vyper accessories work with the Low-Pro and Robust Steel Pro stools?
The Vyper Backrest add-on works on the Robust Steel Pro and the Low-Pro Backrest works on the Low Pro, for buyers who started with a stool form factor and decided they wanted lumbar support after the fact.
The Big Boy is not compatible with the Low-Pro, but is compatible with the Robust Steel Sport. The Tool Tray and Sidekick are designed primarily for the Robust Steel Max and Elevated Steel Max chair frames. For a stool-specific tool-holding solution, the Robust Steel Pro ships with a built-in stationary tool tray as a standard feature, no add-on required.
