This chair is very comfortable, those casters are amazing, I bought the set and I’m saving the short roller for my husband for Christmas, he has three of them all from other companies and they are crap!
I love that you're Wisconsin-based and that the engineering feels home-grown. The fasteners and steel parts are robust. I would scream high praise from the roof tops if you replaced the sytrofoam with cardboard and the instructions included were more intuitive and descriptive. I had a million little stryo pieces all over my new chair as well as all over my garage when I was through. And then there were a few steps that it would have been easier if extra pointers were included as better photos.

I really like the chairs they are awesome. I wish I could have gotten the white and black chair that is all over facebook. I called to enquirer about it and was told it was a one off. Get it off of facebook if you don’t sell it. But great quality easy to put together. I highly recommend it. Thank you

“Buy once cry once” is right. BUT, I have never seen or felt anything in the garage that is such a quality build. It’s smooth, it’s tight, and it’s RIGHT.

the cost is too expensive, especially when ypu have to assembleit yourself. Uncomfortable material and padding. Does not roll easily as advertised. back rest too low. I will never buy the product again.
I went back and forth on this stool for a while, seemed like a lot of money for a shop stool. I finally got it, and just put the thing together this morning. It is such a beauty, could not be happier I finally hit buy. Extremely high-quality hardware, great feel and with a height I can comfortably work at my bench seated. I love this stool!!
We bought the Vyper Chair to replace the highly sophisticated 5-gallon bucket we’d been using in the powder booth… and holy hell, what an upgrade. It’s comfortable, rolls great, keeps everything we need right where we need it, and has quickly become one of those tools we didn’t realize we needed until we had it. Naturally, leaving it stock wasn’t an option. We gave it the full Powder Palace treatment with a custom powder coat job. We absolutely love this thing. It gets used every day in the shop, and after years of sitting on buckets, our backs and asses would like to formally thank Vyper Industrial. I got this for a disabled Veteran who loves to fix up cars for family & friends. He’s has surgery this year and may need more. This chair made all the difference in the world to him. Old craftsman stool dumped me on the ground for the last time. Orderd a robust steel max e-z lift and liked it so much orderd the elevated steel max e-z lift they are pro stools
These chairs are THE BOMB! it supports my big butt and still rolls easily and quickly. I am not a "shop guy", my chair is my computer desk chair. It works!

I thoroughly enjoy my new chair. I have a trench drain in the middle of my garage floor and I can wheel right across it with no issues. Way more comfortable than my old one that I have had for years!
Video assembly has different parts than what is needed. So had to follow the directions provided in manual. Haven’t quite finished tightening the seat bolts. Need tools different from manual.
I have taken more than one tumble off a stool in 45 years as a tech and a couple since retiring. It is solid, comfortable and it will make working in my shop more enjoyable. My only complaint is that the tall stool I ordered is not here yet.
All the claims made by Vyper are true. This chair is built like a tank and is very comfortable. Yes, it is pricey, but you definitely get what you paid for with this Vyper chair. I plan on buying another one soon!
Was very excited when my chair got here compared it to my old one and decided it had to go into retirement, would only come out when someone stopped by not a very good host but don’t want to share my rock star it was a great investment for an older guy will be checking out the rest of your lineup

Got the chair at vyper fest for a good deal, rolls smoothly, comfortable to sit on. Use it for the office, practicing guitar or working in my shop. Planning to get another in the future

A Vyper limited edition is a one-time small-batch run of an existing product (chair, stool, creeper, or cart) in a named colorway, finish, or collaboration design, for example: Ghoul (glow-in-the-dark), Phantom (color-shift chameleon), Sublime (green), Voodoo, Scorch, Joker, Vein, Tribute (military canvas), and Warrior 2.0 (hot pink).
We also have an existing line of collaborations with Vyper x Realtree® and Vyper x Hendrick Motorsports that are always available.
Each limited edition features unique embroidery, custom badges, exclusive stickers and a specific colorway you won't find in the standard lineup. The underlying build (steel frame, casters, foam, mechanisms, capacity, warranty) is identical to the standard product.
Once a Vyper limited edition sells out, it does not restock. That's the point, small batch, no second runs. Buyers who miss a drop have to wait for the next release, which will be a different colorway or collaboration entirely.
There are two different styles of limited editions: time based and quantity based.
Some editions we will run where it’s first come first serve (quantity based). Other times we will run a limited colorway for a certain amount of time (time based). If you miss the cutoff, there’s no going back.
Occasionally we will re-release a previously sold-out edition as a special return (for example, "Scorch, Joker, Volt, Shocker and Viola are back" was a one-time encore drop, called out as a last-chance opportunity). But the default policy is one-and-done. If you see a limited edition in stock and you want it, lock it in.
No. The build is identical to the standard product. A limited edition Robust Steel Max is the same Robust Steel Max underneath: same powder-coated steel frame, same 3.5" industrial foam, same lumbar-support backrest, same 400 lb capacity, same 5-caster anti-tip base, same lifetime warranty on the frame.
What changes is the finish: custom powdercoat color, custom embroidery, custom badges, and specific accent colors on hardware and stitching. You're getting the same chair Chip Foose, Jay Leno and Gas Monkey Garage use, just in a finish that won't be made again.
The fastest way is signing up for the Vyper email list and following @vyperchair on Instagram and YouTube, limited editions are announced usually 1 to 2 weeks before the drop with the exact date and time. Most drops go live at 9 AM CST on the announced date.
High-demand drops frequently sell out within hours. Customers on the email list get the announcement first, which is the difference between getting the chair and not.
Yes. Limited edition chairs are compatible with the full Vyper accessory lineup (armrests, backrests, EZ-Lift, Big Boy attachment, tool trays, footrails, Sidekick). Many limited editions offer matching-color accessories during the drop window; once the drop closes, accessories may only be available in standard colors.
