Great
It is very sturdy and gets used everyday. The only issue, which I resolved fairly easily, is that your assembly instructions are incomplete (don't state all the tools needed) and incorrect with some of the part numbers in the book being different from the part number of the bag. The chair is a welcome addition to our garage.
I’ve looked at these chairs for a long time and finally decided it was time to purchase one. I couldn’t be happier as this is an awesome product and worth the money.

As advertised, it's a robust, very solid chair. As a 71 year old mobility impaired guy, I was having increasing difficulty doing maintenance and hobby tasks in the garage, especially when I needed to stoop or bend down for long periods. This chair allows me to be at a squatting height with solid support and the large casters allow good mobility without having to stand up and drag a stool to a new position. I strongly recommend the accessory tool tray. The chair was easy to assemble, especially after watching a couple of YouTube videos.

Very well made and gets around the garage well. Worth the cost and is great for moving up and down working on projects. My husband loves it and now our sons are going to buy one for themselves.

Chair is just as described, well built, definitely heavy duty should last a long time. Assembly was pretty easy between the written instructions and the video furnished.

The delivery was sooner than I expected. Great. Assembly of the chair was straight forward and accomplished successfully. Rolling around the shop is so much easier than my old chair and the ez lift is EASY! I’m so glad that I purchased the chair.
Cant say enough how great these well designed and built chairs are. At 64 and retiring next year cant stay on my feet all day so these will help me work more comfortable as I'm starting to set up my dream shop in a 40x20 4 car garage. When my wife retires we plan to move to land with a much bigger shop so just got the bundle for now when i set up the full detailing area will be getting the low detailing chair and a few other accessory's. The blue matched my big Royal blue Snap On box and cart i will be bringing home in April

Got the sport first then put 4” casters and upgraded seat on it, then got the robust steel max w/easy lift and love them both. My wife claimed one and grand daughter claimed the other. Guess I’ll have to get me a camo robust steel max.
Great chair
Thinking back, I’ve gone through 7 rolling stools and chairs in 12 years. All broken in some way. I have looked at this chair many times but always saw the cost and couldn’t justify pulling the trigger. Last month I added up the cost of all the chairs that are now in the bone yard. I knew at that point what I needed to do. I’m totally amazed at how solid this viper chair is. All the way from the frame to the comfort of having lumbar support. I normally have buyers remorse with things like this but not this time!! Thanks Viper!
Very well built!
A little effort in the assembly pictorial would be greatly appreciated. Maybe numbering the bolt packets or color coding them with a matching color on the pictorial. Spent alot of time getting the right length bolts in the correct spots in step one. Heck it was only a 100 degrees on Sunday.
This chair is built like a tank and assembly was straightforward. I am sure this chair will last forever. Glad I finally made the purchase. I was very happy with the customer service as well.
I debated for a year or so before I pulled the trigger…. It’s the best shop seat I’ve ever sat my butt on!

We bought a brown/black shop chair for at work, and liked it so much we bought another one for our home garage/shop. Makes a huge difference - able to enjoy working in comfort.
Opening the box it looked pretty intimidating. Read the directions and it was super easy to put together. Once I put it together everyone wanted to try it. Super comfortable and rolls really easy. I think of all the shop seats I bought, if I would have bought this one first I would be money ahead. Other companies say they have a superior product, they don’t compare to this one.

It was very easy to put together. I still have to tighten up some screws. I noticed a squeak when I lean back. I love the way it rolls over the chords. It’s about the right height for what I do. I do a lot of welding and fabric work. I got the chair because I had a full knee replacement and I’m trying to get back to work.
Well constructed. Easy to assemble. This definitely will not tip over like many of the competitor's models that I personally have used. My employees at a State agency that I worked at continually kept tipping over on flooring that had very little wrong with the surface, other than minor cracks. After purchasing a few of these chairs, there was no longer a problem and other employees in the agency wanted them as well.
Very pleased with quality of materials, easily assembled. Just used to roll around welding a tailgate that was on a body work stand, very stable , rolls great. Best I have ever used. Keep up the good work. Ham"Bone" Pletcher
High-quality product, but limited camo accessories and vague instructions. I was initially very hesitant to purchase this item due to its high price point. The primary reason I decided to move forward with the purchase was the availability of the Realtree APX-Camo version; I would not have paid this premium for the standard color options. That being said, I am highly impressed with the build quality. The item is exceptionally robust and performs exactly as advertised. While I have only used it a handful of times since assembly, it has met my expectations. I would have gladly purchased both the Adjustable Armrest and Adjustable Backrest as well, but unfortunately, neither accessory is offered in the Realtree APX-Camo pattern. My only critique lies in the assembly instructions. The manual consists entirely of very small illustrations with little to no explanatory text. Furthermore, despite triple-checking the inventory list, I ended up with several extra parts that were neither listed nor pictured anywhere in the documentation.
I did not realize I was buying an $800.00 erector set. It should have arrived assembled. My wife a I are elderly. I had to hire a handyman to assemble it for us. That cost $150.00. Please refund me the $150.00 for assembly. Also, the tool tray was not in the assembly because it arrived 10 days after the chair. It will be discovered in the unopened box in the back of the garage when we die.
Great product! False advertising. The website states that the bundle package is $1100.00, $175 off. But at checkout it's still $1275.00. I called and was told that they won't sell the camo for the bundle price. I told them that was deceptive. I was told they would pass that on.

Love the chair. It is as good as all the advertising says it is. Can't wait to use it some more. I think when i can i am going to add the wide seat and maybe the arm rests. Thanks for a great USA built product. I am so tired of subpar chines made stuff.

A Vyper limited edition is a one-time small-batch run of an existing product (chair, stool, creeper, or cart) in a named colorway, finish, or collaboration design, for example: Ghoul (glow-in-the-dark), Phantom (color-shift chameleon), Sublime (green), Voodoo, Scorch, Joker, Vein, Tribute (military canvas), and Warrior 2.0 (hot pink).
We also have an existing line of collaborations with Vyper x Realtree® and Vyper x Hendrick Motorsports that are always available.
Each limited edition features unique embroidery, custom badges, exclusive stickers and a specific colorway you won't find in the standard lineup. The underlying build (steel frame, casters, foam, mechanisms, capacity, warranty) is identical to the standard product.
Once a Vyper limited edition sells out, it does not restock. That's the point, small batch, no second runs. Buyers who miss a drop have to wait for the next release, which will be a different colorway or collaboration entirely.
There are two different styles of limited editions: time based and quantity based.
Some editions we will run where it’s first come first serve (quantity based). Other times we will run a limited colorway for a certain amount of time (time based). If you miss the cutoff, there’s no going back.
Occasionally we will re-release a previously sold-out edition as a special return (for example, "Scorch, Joker, Volt, Shocker and Viola are back" was a one-time encore drop, called out as a last-chance opportunity). But the default policy is one-and-done. If you see a limited edition in stock and you want it, lock it in.
No. The build is identical to the standard product. A limited edition Robust Steel Max is the same Robust Steel Max underneath: same powder-coated steel frame, same 3.5" industrial foam, same lumbar-support backrest, same 400 lb capacity, same 5-caster anti-tip base, same lifetime warranty on the frame.
What changes is the finish: custom powdercoat color, custom embroidery, custom badges, and specific accent colors on hardware and stitching. You're getting the same chair Chip Foose, Jay Leno and Gas Monkey Garage use, just in a finish that won't be made again.
The fastest way is signing up for the Vyper email list and following @vyperchair on Instagram and YouTube, limited editions are announced usually 1 to 2 weeks before the drop with the exact date and time. Most drops go live at 9 AM CST on the announced date.
High-demand drops frequently sell out within hours. Customers on the email list get the announcement first, which is the difference between getting the chair and not.
Yes. Limited edition chairs are compatible with the full Vyper accessory lineup (armrests, backrests, EZ-Lift, Big Boy attachment, tool trays, footrails, Sidekick). Many limited editions offer matching-color accessories during the drop window; once the drop closes, accessories may only be available in standard colors.
