Easy to assemble and far better than the plastic creepers. I recently replaced the entire suspension on my car and the creeper made it a lot easier on the back. The wheels are positioned out of the way and never had issue with arm or tool placement. It’s a durable construction and I might have used it for unofficial dolly use to move boxes around the garage. Extra bonus point for the rupture color scheme as it looks really sharp in all lighting conditions
Assembly , meaning aligning the screws from the Frame to fit into the top and bottom brackets is a Game of patience and skill due to the tension necessary for the backrest webbing. Ground clearance of the creeper on uneven pavement is an issue for me due to the 4!in wheel size.. too small and the riveted reinforcement brackets underneath .give about 1 in ground clearance which would be fine on a concrete shop floor. I wish you would indicate that on your website . Will have to modify design and use hockey pucks as spacers for 5 in casters to make it work in my driveway currently using the “bone” which has sufficient ground clearance Creeper is very comfortable otherwise Juergen
Great product!
At 80 years of age, I find it increasingly difficult to lie down, work under my car, and get back up. The Vyper Lay Down Creeper solved 95% of that problem! NO pain from the super-duty cloth support material, and the wheels roll effortlessly. It is also a few inches lower than the two previous creepers I have used, and the tilting head rest is a big boost if one needs to have their head tilted up--no need to hold it there. I also have the very low profile seat and regular seat--- in blue, and both Vyper, of course! I use the regular Vyper seat to get up from the Lay Down Creeper. Normal (younger) folks won't have that problem. What I love best about ALL the Vyper products I own is the almost insane "overkill" on construction: THICK metal piece, grade 5 and 8 hardware, and incredible fit and finish. These work chairs could easily be used in one's living room--in fact, I don't doubt that in a few years, they may make some "chaise lounge" type of chairs for watching a large screen TV in your garage! And, in my case, my grandkids can inherit my Vyper products and pass them along to their grandkids!
Super easy to put together. Rolls super smooth. Another 100% awesome product that they make in another awesome color. I need to stop buying from this company but I just can’t stop. Someone needs to call my wife so she can stop me. 🤣
All great but I have to modify a bit. I am installing steel plate edge guards to the bottoms of the front & rear plates. This is so that when you pick up the creeper from the top ( which is most of the time ) or from the bottom the edge of the vertical plates don't scrape on the floor. The edge guards are almost the same as what is used on the seat backrest support and I would have bought those guards from Vyper except that the shipping was almost double the price of the protective strips. I'm almost thinking about also adding a rubber strip along the top & bottom plates to act like bumpers. All good otherwise!
I love this creeper!! I have had back surgery and this is the only creeper that doesn't hurt my back to lay on!! It is like having a hammock for a creeper!! It is the best one on the market hands down!!
Final pieces to my dream garage with the perfect equipment . Best shop stools and creeper I’ve ever owned. Worth every bit of the money. Thrilled with product and Thank you Vyper for the tribute edition coming back . It let me finish my set.
To be honest, it is a nice creeper but the fit and finish is not to the normal Vyper standard of my 2 chairs. The main steel beams must not have been jigged strait because they were a chore to bolt it. It seemed like they were almost a few degrees out of rotation or warped because they wouldnt lay flat on the wheel carriage and I had to use a drift to get the holes the last 1/8" lined up. It works and is comfortable, but not as well as my chairs and definitely not for $500.

Best creeper I have ever owned!! Should have purchased a long time ago but just kept putting it off, thinking just how often am I going to use it to justify spending that much money,…. Let me just say, u get what you pay for ! This creeper is light weight but still very high quality, well worth the money! Love it and the three vyper chairs I have purchased in the past!! Keep it up, Great Products!!!
It’s very nice… very sturdy… very HEAVY… very expensive… rolls easily… Can’t believe that I spent more on this creeper than I spent on my first car! I’m 73 years old… probably why I think this is heavy!
The creeper appears to have been designed and assembled to take abuse. I imagine a “real” mechanic had a great deal of influence on the final outcome.

Let me start by saying I love Vyper products. They are top notch in quality. I have loved all the other Vyper products I own, but the creeper falls a bit short for me. I'm tall, with broad shoulders, and the side frames and button bolts dig in to my upper arms/shoulders when I rock up to one side. After a day of using the creeper under my truck, the back of my arms and shoulders were bruised and sore. I think if I were shorter and a bit narrower it might have been fine.
I got so tired of getting stuck on pebbles on the floor and had been looking at Vyper for a while finally bought the creeper seat after tipping over several dozen times over the years! Then purchased the lay down creeper. Wow what a difference! Never going back to the alternative....

Order and delivery was done in a very timely manner. I watched the very informative video about assembly, and did not even need the written instructions. (Though it was nice that they came with the product!) The product is very well made and I'm pleased it is made in the USA! Great job!

This creeper rolls so good it should come with four wheel disc brakes.
A well made easy to assemble, robustly constructed product . Happy to support a company manufacturing in the USA. Two things I didn’t care for: 1) the interior packing material is all styrofoam which is non-recyclable and came crushed and made a mess unpacking inside my house. 2) At this price point, a set of the 3 required hex keys would have been a nice touch, or offer to include them at cost. I didn’t have the 5/16 key and had to go buy one in a set to get the casters on. Just suggestions- overall a great product and you’ll only need one of these provided it doesn’t get stolen .

Yes very nice creeper
Very durable and extremely heavy duty. I like the fact that if it is out in the rain, it won't collect water like a sponge. Very real case of "Buy once, cry once". Yeah, it's expensive, but my problem is I murdered 2 Harbor Freight creepers that were plastic, and one of Autozone's most expensive creepers in 1 year's time (So about $400 worth). I feel confident this is the last creeper I will ever buy. Thanks!
I love this creeper no more arms and clothes getting pinched in swivel casters, rolls perfectly on my floor no more stops or drags on small debris on the floor, well worth the price.

What is a Vyper limited edition?
A Vyper limited edition is a one-time small-batch run of an existing product (chair, stool, creeper, or cart) in a named colorway, finish, or collaboration design, for example: Ghoul (glow-in-the-dark), Phantom (color-shift chameleon), Sublime (green), Voodoo, Scorch, Joker, Vein, Tribute (military canvas), and Warrior 2.0 (hot pink).
We also have an existing line of collaborations with Vyper x Realtree® and Vyper x Hendrick Motorsports that are always available.
Each limited edition features unique embroidery, custom badges, exclusive stickers and a specific colorway you won't find in the standard lineup. The underlying build (steel frame, casters, foam, mechanisms, capacity, warranty) is identical to the standard product.
Will sold-out Vyper limited editions ever come back?
Once a Vyper limited edition sells out, it does not restock. That's the point, small batch, no second runs. Buyers who miss a drop have to wait for the next release, which will be a different colorway or collaboration entirely.
There are two different styles of limited editions: time based and quantity based.
Some editions we will run where it’s first come first serve (quantity based). Other times we will run a limited colorway for a certain amount of time (time based). If you miss the cutoff, there’s no going back.
Occasionally we will re-release a previously sold-out edition as a special return (for example, "Scorch, Joker, Volt, Shocker and Viola are back" was a one-time encore drop, called out as a last-chance opportunity). But the default policy is one-and-done. If you see a limited edition in stock and you want it, lock it in.
Are limited edition Vyper chairs different from regular chairs in build quality?
No. The build is identical to the standard product. A limited edition Robust Steel Max is the same Robust Steel Max underneath: same powder-coated steel frame, same 3.5" industrial foam, same lumbar-support backrest, same 400 lb capacity, same 5-caster anti-tip base, same lifetime warranty on the frame.
What changes is the finish: custom powdercoat color, custom embroidery, custom badges, and specific accent colors on hardware and stitching. You're getting the same chair Chip Foose, Jay Leno and Gas Monkey Garage use, just in a finish that won't be made again.
Are limited edition Vyper chairs different from regular chairs in build quality?
The fastest way is signing up for the Vyper email list and following @vyperchair on Instagram and YouTube, limited editions are announced usually 1 to 2 weeks before the drop with the exact date and time. Most drops go live at 9 AM CST on the announced date.
High-demand drops frequently sell out within hours. Customers on the email list get the announcement first, which is the difference between getting the chair and not.
Can I add custom accessories to a limited edition chair and do they ship with the same accessories as the standard model?
Yes. Limited edition chairs are compatible with the full Vyper accessory lineup (armrests, backrests, EZ-Lift, Big Boy attachment, tool trays, footrails, Sidekick). Many limited editions offer matching-color accessories during the drop window; once the drop closes, accessories may only be available in standard colors.
