SPECS & DIMENSIONS
Every Vyper chair is hand-built in Green Bay, Wisconsin. No cheap parts, no shortcuts. Every component fabricated by Americans who give a damn about what they build.
Sit in it for a month. Roll it across your shop floor. Beat on it. If it's not the best chair you've ever owned, send it back for 100% of your money.
The MINI CREEPER ships free to your door from our Wisconsin facility. Most orders go out within 48 hours, and you'll get tracking the moment it leaves the dock. No surprise fees, no third-party warehouse delays.
Stuff happens. A caster wears out, a bolt strips, a weld doesn't hold. If rare event ever happens, send it back and we'll replace it. Frame, casters, and hardware are covered for life. Everything else is covered for 5 years.
Vyper gear and equipment is trusted by the best in the business.
Everything you need to know before you upgrade.
Each Vyper creeper is built for a different working position: the Lay-Down Creeper is for full undercar work, the Mini Creeper is a low rolling seat for body and detailing work, the Low-Pro is a slightly taller seated stool for close-to-ground tasks and the Foldable Creeper is a portable secondary creeper for jobs away from the main shop.
Foldable Creeper: Lay-down design that folds for portability and storage. Secondary creeper for mobile work or smaller garages.
The Vyper Lay-Down Creeper is built with a powder-coated steel frame, aluminum housing, puncture-proof Superfabric padding and large 4" casters with aluminum caster covers. The caster covers are the differentiator most buyers notice, they prevent shirts, hoodies and hair from getting caught in the wheels while rolling.
Compared to molded-plastic creepers that we’ve all used before, the Vyper is overbuilt: heavier-gauge steel where they use plastic, Superfabric where they use vinyl and a wider frame that distributes weight off the shoulders. Buyers who've broken three or four plastic creepers in five years upgrade to the Vyper and stop replacing.
Yes. The Lay-Down Creeper has a wide steel frame and Superfabric padding designed for all body sizes, including taller mechanics (6'2"+) and larger frames. The wide design takes pressure off the shoulders and the headrest adjusts to accommodate different neck angles.
A real pattern across the reviews: mechanics in their 60s, 70s, and 80s who can no longer get up off the floor mention the Lay-Down Creeper as the equipment that lets them keep working under cars. Customers with sciatica, back surgeries and shoulder injuries cite the wider frame and adjustable headrest specifically.
The Mini Creeper is the lowest rolling seat Vyper builds, 5.75" off the ground in its low setting, designed for work that's too low for any shop stool. Detailing wheels, polishing rocker panels, PPF, and vinyl application on lower door panels, brake dust cleaning on sports cars, baseboards, outlet installation and anything else that used to mean kneeling on concrete or a folded shop towel.
400 lb capacity, welded tubular steel frame, built-in tool trays and a full lineup of accessories (dual cup/parts holder, bottle rack, polisher rack). Customers in their late 60s and 70s tell us the Mini Creeper is what brought them back into the shop after they could no longer kneel.
Yes. Vyper sells a wall-mount accessory specifically for the Lay-Down Creeper so it stores vertically when not in use, off the floor, out of the way and not collecting dust under the workbench. The wall mount is sold separately from the creeper itself.
Buyers with smaller garages, mobile detailers operating out of trailers and shop owners trying to maximize floor space cite the wall mount as a practical add-on. It bolts to standard wall studs or shop wall systems.
Vyper creepers carry a lifetime warranty on the steel frame, hardware, and casters, plus 5-year coverage on cushions, padding and mechanisms. The point of the build is to buy once instead of replacing every couple of years.
Across reviews, buyers who've owned cheap plastic creepers for 5 to 10 years before switching consistently mention the Vyper as the last creeper they expect to buy. If anything ever fails, a real person at the Green Bay headquarters answers at (920) 301-3822 or via email. No chatbot loops.
Yes. Every Vyper creeper is designed, welded, powder-coated, and assembled in Green Bay, Wisconsin, by the same team you'll talk to if you call customer service. Vyper has been pioneering U.S.-based shop equipment manufacturing since 2020.
When you buy a Vyper creeper, you're paying American workers, not subsidizing offshore factories. That matters to a lot of buyers, especially veterans, tradespeople and shop owners who've watched the rest of the category move overseas.
Build your dream garage with chairs, carts, creepers and fans that are guaranteed to outlast anything else in your shop.
