I'd just like to say I love all your products but, I wish you had some type of trade in for the old style lift to the EZ-lift upgrade. eventually I will the robust steel max to complement my elevated steel max and will definitely the EZ -lift version. I’ve had the Vyper Robust Steel Max with the Big Boy Attachment and ACME rod for several years and loved it. I recently purchased the EZ-Lift to convert it for quicker and easier height adjustment and love it even more.
Poor description... It mentions fitting the robust steel model but it does not fit the robust sport specifically.
Sold lots of the quick adjust chairs, and have most of them that bought the upgrade
Ended up having some issues with the original levers for my Vyper chair and they had to be replaced. Being around water often, it started to rust and the chair would not stay in the upright position. So I did what I should have done from the beginning and I bought the EZ Lift. So happy I did. The swivel is so much smoother and the EZ Lift is just all around better. Absolutely love it.
Really well put together piece doesn’t work with all kits that Vyper offers but with the kids that it does work with it is really well put together and we’ll do a good job
Disappointed it didn't fit with my arm extensions. But its a really nice setup compared to the older setup. It works really well.
This is an upgrade to my first chair I ordered it with the threaded rod height adjuster then upgraded to the quick drop adjuster. The chair was for my welding bench as I am a little handicapped with only one leg I use the chair to scoot around my small shop other shop chairs often left me laying on my back wondering why nobody made a better shop chair…. Until my friend and fellow welder showed me the web site for vyper and said they are a little pricey but they are beautiful 2 minutes after the next tip over I ordered my first chair was so happy I ordered the taller chair with the best upgrade yet the hydraulic adjuster! I then ordered the hydraulic adjuster for my first chair you people make a fantastic product and your customer support and service is second to none You make made in America mean something again. Love the chair. Just wanted the hydraulic lift when I bought the chair and only had the piano stool height adjust. Chair still did good, and now it is even better for my use with the hydraulic lift adjust.
The kit came with good assembly instructions. All the pieces fit together precisely. The quality of the components was better than I expected. The upgrade is well worth the cost and effort to install. My recommendation to potential customers is to select this upgrade when ordering new. Elliot C Nelson

The adjustability the hydraulic cylinder is a feature that I was looking for when I originally purchased my chair. Unfortunately it wasn't released until shortly after I purchased my chair. I wasn't using my chair much because of the lack of fast height adjustment. A week or so before Memorial Day my wife asked me how ai liked my chair and I told her it was just OK due to the height adjustment and she said I should get the hydraulic cylinder and then a few days later it went on sale so I ordered it.
Have had a robust-qh and an elevated-qh since mid-2023. Found out about the EZ-Lift upgrade about two weeks ago from a Sedgetool video. Just installed on both of my chairs. What a game changer! Not only is it much easier to raise and lower the seat, but they now swivel also. Just bite the bullet and make the upgrade!

I am now the proud owner of the coolest smoothest-swiveling chair in the known universe, and I only had to completely disassemble it down to the last nut and bolt to get there. Every. Single. One. The upgrade itself? Phenomenal. Absolutely worth it. The swivel is buttery, the motion is perfect, and I now spin in my chair like a supervillain who has truly earned their lair. However. HOWEVER. I am now also the proud owner of approximately 10 pounds of "what do I do with these" — a gleaming, oddly satisfying pile of hardware that can best be described as "definitely chair-related" and absolutely nothing else. Bits of mysterious metal that I'm convinced are load-bearing... somewhere. They're cool-looking. Very cool-looking. I've considered displaying them in a bowl like artisanal nuts at a fancy party. The pile currently lives on my workbench where I walk past it daily, nod at it respectfully, and move on with my life. Bottom line: the swivel upgrade is a 10/10. The leftover hardware is a 10/10 conversation piece. Would absolutely recommend. The chair rocks. Or rather, it spins. Gloriously.
Excellent addition to my Vyper. Watching the assembly video provided on the website made the task extremely simple and fast. Vyper appears to think of everything, such as listing the exact size of the sockets and wrenches needed for the retrofit. Great experience!
EZ-lift height adjuster is the best. The chair swivels more freely than the quick height adjuster.
I’m sure glad you came up with the ez lift!! It makes the chair 10 times better than it already is! I just might be buying another one!

This is the ultimate upgrade to an already fantastic chair. I purchased my Robust Steel Max in 2023. I bought it with the Acme Rod height adjustment, easy enough to adjust the height of the chair but nowhere near as fast as the EZ-Lift. My only regret is my wife likes it so much I may lose my chair.

I was not happy with my chair in terms of lifting and lowering it to meet my different needs in the shop. Love the chair otherwise. The best I have ever owned. This device solved the issue. Easy to install and it works exactly as advertised. You took the best shop chair ever and made it perfect.
This is a great shop stool I use it daily with my back issues it lets me do the mechanic work I wouldn’t be able to with out it and the craftsmanship is great being a good sturdy strong stool plus every time something has come up needing fixed I just call Viper and it’s taken care of Thank You 😁Frank
Replaced an acme screw and I am very pleased with the lift. Quick, precise and convenient, now I just need the arm's design to catch up with the E Z Lift so I will have my version of a complete unit.
I recieve my lift kit and was disappointed that this kit is not for the chair I have..My mistake for not realizing it..BUT, it is built beautifully and rugged..Simple installation but again doesn't work for my chair.
Works better than expected. They are expensive but worth it.
