Who It's Built For
Introducing STEALTH [Orange Spec]: a head-to-toe murdered-out build, but with a unique twist.
Stealth goes dark on every surface. Seat, legs, backrest, foot rail, casters, hardware, all blacked out. The orange stitching cuts through the black like a blade, the only hint of color on an otherwise lights-out build. Topped off with a first-ever blacked-out badge you won't find on anything else we make. This is the kind of build that stops conversations when it rolls into the shop.

Your Problems. Our Solution.
Vyper chairs are built to fix the everyday problems that cheap shop chairs create. If your chair makes the job harder, more painful, or more frustrating than it needs to be, it’s time to upgrade.
Sore Back & knees?
Work in All-Day Comfort
Cheap chairs put your body in the wrong position for hours. Vyper gives you the cushioning, lumbar support, and adjustable height you need to stay comfortable, stay focused, and get through long days without paying for it later.
Don't Trust Your Chair?
Trust the chair you work in
Most shop chairs are made from cheap plastics and lightweight materials that wear down fast and need replacing every six months. Vyper chairs are built like a tank with all-steel construction to support up to 400 lbs with zero flex.
Tired of Tipping Over?
Roll Safely Over Anything
Tiny casters catch on cracks, cords, zip ties, and uneven concrete, which can send the chair sideways and put you at risk of injury. Vyper uses 4-inch industrial-grade casters and a 5-point anti-tip base to safely roll over anything without dumping you on the floor.
Great chair! Excellent fitment, went together with quality hardware. I am pleased with how perfect it is for so many things around my personal (home) garage!
Assembly was a challenge. Instructions could have been more detailed concerning size and placement of bolts. Assembly took about 4 hours. The stool is sturdy and of good quality.
love the build quality besides the casters. the wheels them selfs are smooth but the bearings the chair attaches to are pretty crunchy. ( yes I loosened the bolts to see if that was the problem) I'm only 200 lbs so was surprised. also comfy till about 2 hours
Just put it together! Got for my husband for his birthday. He usually doesn’t show excitement even with gifts he wants. I surprised him with this still and he had a fit over it and is raving about the quality. And attention to details. Excellent product! Get one TODAY!!!
We finally got tired of buying cheap shop chairs that fell apart and left our technician uncomfortable, so we bought a Vyper chair. We’re glad we did.
Casey, our LaserSquad technician, spends ten-hour days doing laser cleaning and weld prep, getting in and out of his chair constantly. He absolutely loves the upgrade.
Assembly, however, came with some colorful commentary. After hearing a couple hours of commotion from the shop, I checked on him. Between the parts scattered everywhere and the language, it looked like a three-beer project—and he was questioning every decision that had brought him there.
Fortunately, the chair is now assembled, the complaining has dropped dramatically, and Casey is enjoying a comfortable seat that feels built for the work.
As a U.S.-based small business, we appreciate other American businesses that take pride in quality. We’re happy to pay for something well made that we can use and enjoy for years.
Thank you, Vyper, from the LaserSquad team—and especially from Casey, now that assembly is behind him!
I was in the area trail riding north east of Green Bay and stopped in to try out chairs in person, the showroom person was fantastic, showing and explaining all about the chairs. I left with my chair very impressed.
I love the stool and I can’t wait to actually use it on my day off . I have two vehicles that I love doing maintenance on including my own detailing. Te chair is really going to come in handy ..
Bought two chairs and they are awesome !! They have thought of everything including high quality lock nuts. I came home and ordered a creeper I was so impressed and what was even cooler was they had a pink one for cancer awareness !! My wife recently passed because of cancer so a special Thank You to Vyper for supporting and giving back !! Good people, good product, and a win win !! Thanks again Vyper

The chair is great! If I had any complaints it might be that it rolls too easily! Even over my old rough, cracked and patched concrete floor. Super comfy even on long days.
My expectations were high because of the price point for your products. I have no problem paying for quality. But, you fell short, the casters on this are good quality except for the locking casters, they are inferior junk. Thin metal that bends and refuses to retract from the wheel creating a constant drag on the chair. I contacted CS and asked if they would at least replaced the locking wheels with standard wheels and they agreed. One other issue, each time I go to move the chair I grab the backrest cushion. I've found a sharp edge on a plastic plate that's used to cover the cushion back. I've taken it off and used an 1/8" round over bit on the edge to make it smooth. It's a simple fix that I wouldn't overlook, it goes to your overall impression of a product and it's presentation of it's quality. If I was buying from Harbor freight I wouldn't even mention it, I would correct the issues and move on, with plenty of extra cash in my pocket. But this is supposed to be of the highest quality at this price point, and I'm not accepting these missed opportunities.
The frame and fasteners are an engineering marvel, to say it's overbuilt doesn't capture how well they nailed this design. The seat and backrest cushions are very good, comfortable and well made. This chair will be passed down through generations, it's built to last. Once I get the replacement wheels and replace those inferior locking casters I will be quite pleased with it. No more sharp edges on the backrest.
Please accept this critique in good faith, I just have high expectations when the price point for a mechanics chair is this high. It's always the "details" with any product, and to set yourself above the crowd you have to get them all.
Sincerely, Jack
Hi Dayne, I found out about your chairs from my neighbor, he has two. I found your site and ordered two stools, and two adj full size chairs. I am very pleased with your product designs. Having been a Machinist, Welder, Cad designer since 1974 after my tour with the USMC, My son and I have a weld, design business in my home. We have a Siegmund 4'x8' table and your Elevated EZ-LIFT fits very well. Thank you and your design team for producing a very much needed tool for fabrication.

I am using the chair for mobility in my home as I have trouble walking. The last two year I have used a salon chair, but the wheels did not hold up and had to be replaced several times.
I am 5’5” tall and with your chair I have an issue hitting my ankles on edge of the wheels. I imagine stability of the chair is the reason of the diameter.
Last week I ordered the armrest to give me more stability to sit.
I know your chair was not designed for my disability. I am very impressed with the quality of your chair.
Thank you for allowing me to be more mobile in my home. Also…. I can’t walk, but your chair allows me exercise by propelling myself forward to move around my home.
Grateful for the mobility
Jenny
Unbelievable Quality, if you spend anytime in your garage or in the house working where you need to sit, this chair is game changer. I looked at this chair for two years before finally making the investment. Now all I can think about is all the ridiculous things that I've wasted money on in the last two years when I should have bought the Vyper chair then and not waited. Boy do I feel stupid now. Great investment in yourself and I can't express how much better I feel throughout the time I'm working using this chair.
I’m using mine in my dental practice. The large base gets in the way while working on patients. The seat could be a little bigger. The range of seat height should be up to 26” because of the seat height loss once sitting on it. I must say it’s the best built chair I’ve ever sat on. Quality is incredible
Nice product. The only thing is when welder sits on the chair the chair decreases in seat height by about one inch. He is going to machine blocks to fit in between the wheels and the base of the leg and use longer bolts. The back where you mount the backrest (we got the color blue) had a ding and scratch on it. The box was fine when we received by freight company.
Ok, I'm going to be honest. I needed this chair like I needed a hole in the head. But then again, I just had to have it, I just HAD to have it. I got it today in Dodger blue, put it together and called my buddies over to come take a look. Then I threw out my old wooden stool of thirty years. It's not a tool but it works every bit as well. Even my beer taste better. I'd been looking at these chairs for the last six months and I finally pulled the trigger. So glad I did, I love this chair.
i like the chair but the back needs to be wider but i do like it .just wish when i ordered it that you would have told me about the pink chair i would have got that one .
I purchased the cheap one being a do it your selfer and saying," I don't want to pay all that money for the good one." I found out in a big hurry the cheap is junk and I wasted my money. You want quality, just like hand tools that last snd made in the USA, your going to pay for it. If you like Quality and USA made this is the chair for you!
It is a well-made, robust shop chair. The caster wheels work great. I am very pleased with this purchase. This chair is far superior to the usual rolling shop chairs that I usually see.
Clearly high-quality materials. Very comfy, rolls smoothly, and I really like the footrest bar, as I play guitar on it and it's perfect for that.
That said, a slighlty larger backrest pillow would be good and although I'd like a second one, the cost is exorbitant and I won't be buying another unless there's an insane discount offered.
Guys,
I am excited to try out my new shop stool. I have yet to put it together as I did not get my tool tray at the same time the stool arrived. There must have been some sort of shipment delay when sending the tool tray because it was about a week after I received my stool that the tray was delivered to my house just this evening as I was headed to work. I look forward to getting it put to use and I am positive I will be satisfied.
Thanks again.
After putting it all together I have a bolt on the back rest that is not completely flush and I think it had to do with the seating in the back rest piece.
Therefore, it is not flush with the back rest and part of the bolt is out.
r,
Marcus Montez
Wish it would have arrived all at the same time. My husband could not wait to tryout so he put it together right away. A few days later the accessory arrived. He don’t care though he loves it and has already given away old creeper chair. Great purchase for a mechanic that has everything else.
The stools are the best built in world! Plus the fact that they are built in the USA makes them even better. My Snapon stool doesn’t even come close to the quality of these stools. The snapon stool hung up on my mats infront of my work bench, the Vyper’s just roll right over them. Thanks for the quality love them!
This is a big purchase. What if I'm not satisfied?
We get it. The price is more than you've spent on a shop chair/stool/cart before, and you can't sit in it before you buy it. That's why every Vyper purchase comes with a 30-day, 100% money-back guarantee. Roll it, sit in it, put it through a real weekend in your shop. If it's not what we said it was, send it back. We'll refund every penny and cover the return shipping.
The lifetime warranty on the frame, hardware, and casters covers you long after the 30 days are up. If you have questions before or after purchase, call (920) 301-3822 and you'll reach a real person at our Green Bay headquarters. Not a chatbot, not an offshore call center. The team that builds your chair is the team that picks up the phone.
Working at tall fab tables, weld benches, or counter-height workstations? Our Elevated Steel Max chair.
Detailing, polishing, or any work close to the ground?Low Pro stool. For ultra-low work (wheels, baseboards, lower body panels), pair it with a Mini Creeper.
Working under cars, trucks, or anything that needs an undercar position?Lay-Down Creeper. Foldable Creeper if you need a portable secondary.
If your work cycles between multiple positions (which most working shops do), check our bundles. We've configured packages around the way buyers actually work.

I already have a shop stool, why should I upgrade?
Honest answer: if your current stool works for you, doesn't hurt your back, doesn't tip when you reach, doesn't have foam that's flat, and isn't on its way to the dumpster within a year or two, you don't need to upgrade.
But that's not why most buyers come to us. Most buyers upgrade because they've owned three or four cheap stools at $80 to $150 each and they're tired of the cycle. Foam compresses. Wheels break. Frames bend. Welds pop. Within two years, the stool is junk and they're shopping again.
A Vyper chair starts around $475 and includes a lifetime warranty on the frame, hardware, and casters. Buy once. Sit comfortably. Stop replacing every couple of years. The math works out over a decade.
The other reason buyers upgrade: the cheap stool was hurting them. Bad foam, no lumbar support, low weight capacity, narrow seat. After 30 years of trade work, that stool wasn't doing them any favors. The Vyper is the chair that finally lets them keep working without paying for it the next morning.
Is Vyper actually made in the USA?
Yes. Every chair, stool, cart, and creeper is designed, welded, powder-coated, and assembled in Wisconsin. Built here, by Americans, on American soil.
The team that builds your equipment is the same team you'll talk to if you call customer service. Pioneering shop equipment manufacturing in the U.S. since 2020.
When you buy a Vyper, you're paying American workers, not subsidizing factories overseas. That matters to a lot of our customers. It matters to us too.
Are Vyper products good for older buyers, people with bad backs, or those with mobility issues?
A real pattern across our reviews: customers in their 60s, 70s, and 80s, customers with back surgeries, amputees, customers with sciatica, and customers with bad knees explicitly mention Vyper as the equipment that lets them keep working in the shop.
A few specific reasons why:
The Robust Steel Max and Elevated Steel Max chairs have lumbar-support backrests and 3.5-inch industrial foam seats. The smooth EZ-Lift height adjustment lets you dial in the exact position your back needs without fighting a stuck pin. The five-caster anti-tip base keeps the chair planted when you're sitting down or standing up.
The Big Boy attachment is the most-recommended upgrade for older buyers. The wider seat means you don't have to perfectly center yourself when sitting down, and the wider surface gives you leverage to push off when standing. Reviewers explicitly mention this as a confidence upgrade for buyers worried about getting in and out of the chair safely.
The Adjustable Armrest gives older buyers something solid to grip while sitting down or standing up. Multiple reviewers in their 70s and 80s call this a safety upgrade, not a comfort one. Customers with mobility limitations and amputees mention the armrests as the reason they can use the chair independently.
The Adjustable Backrest is the upgrade for buyers with sciatica, spinal surgeries, or chronic back issues. The height adjustment puts lumbar support exactly where it needs to be. The 10-degree tilt lets you change positions throughout the day instead of being locked into one angle.
The Mini Creeper and Low Pro stool keep you off the concrete for low work. Buyers who can't kneel anymore use these for the wheel detailing, brake jobs, baseboards, and outlet wiring that used to mean kneeling on the floor.
If you have specific concerns about whether a Vyper product is right for your situation, call us at (920) 301-3822 before ordering. Real humans in Green Bay who can talk through your specific needs and recommend the right configuration.
Gear worth your workspace.
