I put together the three stools today, every thing very nice, but no saftey rubber strip for one of them was not in the box.
Very nicely designed chair with excellent materials and part quality. I’ll eventually be passing it down to my kids to use, it’s so well made.
If you are a big and tall person then just buy this for the added comfort. Expensive but definitely more comfortable.
I should have ordered a Viper chair years ago. It is hands down the best garage chair I have ever used. I purchased the fully loaded Robust Steel Max and as soon as I sat in it I knew it was exactly what I wanted in a garage chair. The construction is superb, the fit and finish is exceptional. When I rolled around my garage on it I never sat in a chair that moved that smoothly. My back enjoys the support provided by the backrest. I truly wish I had purchased one years ago.
I love the additional support that the Big Boy attachment offers. It makes the chair much more comfortable and supportive.

tger is no give in the padding very uncomfortable as if you are sitting on a concrete made pad. I will never by this item again or recommend the expensive item.

The Big Boy attachment is a great addition to any chair belonging to a heavy bodied user. It adds just the right amount of extra support for your buttocks if you are sitting for any length of time. It is a great addition to an already great chair!

I bought it for my husband. So far, he’s pleased with it.
Love the big boy attachment, adds a lot of comfort to an already really comfortable shop chair, particularly because it has the backrest. I was finding it hard to get the chair backrest straight in line with my back when sitting on it (I have the elevated model and it’s at bench height plus I am a little vertically challenged, so I have to tip toe to get up into the chair) the seat would rotate as I got on it, misaligning the backrest. It was possible to align but took extra effort to do after getting on, the big boy attachment squares the seat so you naturally sit right in line with the backrest, it puts the back of the chair right where it should be. Also, because I normally sit a little further back on a backless stool, I am forced a little forward with the backrest, so when my legs would wrap around the sides they are pushed more forward, the extra room on the big boy attachment gives them support, which makes the entire chair much more comfortable than a stool. My only complaint is that I purchased the Ford edition chair with blue stitching and the big boy didn’t have an option to match. Not a big deal, just a small detail. Would definitely buy again if I get a second chair for the other section of my bench that has a stool there now.
It is comfortable. The installation was a little confusing but logic won out and everything came together nicely.

I bought this as a shared chair for both of us.. and I'm Quickly seeing that it will be short lived and when I can work it into our budget .."one of us" will have to be giving up their share of the current chair for a new one!!! Thank you for this truly great experience!...sincerely..
Nice product with defective stitching in one pad, Vyper sent a replacement pad with same defect. The other pad is fine. Kind if disappointing but it is functional.
The Big Boy gives me plenty of room for comfort and support.

Fun to put together ! I am a CAD dental designer, my new stool is way better than my old one. I looked at few stools at some retail outlets. I never saw a Vyper stool in person only on TV. It is way better than anything I looked at! The fit and finish is awesome! I just put it together today. The seat is unbelievable. Looking forward to doing my job next week in it. GAME CHANGER!

The big boy attachment is THE most necessary accessory for a Vyper chair if you’re a legitimate big boy like myself. It’s worth every penny and makes this seat so much more comfortable compared to the stand alone seat
Good quality product. Some extra hardware was supplied and 4 bolts holding the backrest were not provided. Had some of my own to complete the project.

A 14” diameter seat is to small you might want to try a 16” diameter seat on your standard stools, the big boy seat made it really comfortable to be able to sit on it for hours at a time. I am retired and needed the extra leg support I spend most of my time in the garage watching NASCAR and other sports, I saved the box just in case I wanted to return it but that’s not going to happen. Thank you for a great product.

What is a Vyper limited edition?
A Vyper limited edition is a one-time small-batch run of an existing product (chair, stool, creeper, or cart) in a named colorway, finish, or collaboration design, for example: Ghoul (glow-in-the-dark), Phantom (color-shift chameleon), Sublime (green), Voodoo, Scorch, Joker, Vein, Tribute (military canvas), and Warrior 2.0 (hot pink).
We also have an existing line of collaborations with Vyper x Realtree® and Vyper x Hendrick Motorsports that are always available.
Each limited edition features unique embroidery, custom badges, exclusive stickers and a specific colorway you won't find in the standard lineup. The underlying build (steel frame, casters, foam, mechanisms, capacity, warranty) is identical to the standard product.
Will sold-out Vyper limited editions ever come back?
Once a Vyper limited edition sells out, it does not restock. That's the point, small batch, no second runs. Buyers who miss a drop have to wait for the next release, which will be a different colorway or collaboration entirely.
There are two different styles of limited editions: time based and quantity based.
Some editions we will run where it’s first come first serve (quantity based). Other times we will run a limited colorway for a certain amount of time (time based). If you miss the cutoff, there’s no going back.
Occasionally we will re-release a previously sold-out edition as a special return (for example, "Scorch, Joker, Volt, Shocker and Viola are back" was a one-time encore drop, called out as a last-chance opportunity). But the default policy is one-and-done. If you see a limited edition in stock and you want it, lock it in.
Are limited edition Vyper chairs different from regular chairs in build quality?
No. The build is identical to the standard product. A limited edition Robust Steel Max is the same Robust Steel Max underneath: same powder-coated steel frame, same 3.5" industrial foam, same lumbar-support backrest, same 400 lb capacity, same 5-caster anti-tip base, same lifetime warranty on the frame.
What changes is the finish: custom powdercoat color, custom embroidery, custom badges, and specific accent colors on hardware and stitching. You're getting the same chair Chip Foose, Jay Leno and Gas Monkey Garage use, just in a finish that won't be made again.
Are limited edition Vyper chairs different from regular chairs in build quality?
The fastest way is signing up for the Vyper email list and following @vyperchair on Instagram and YouTube, limited editions are announced usually 1 to 2 weeks before the drop with the exact date and time. Most drops go live at 9 AM CST on the announced date.
High-demand drops frequently sell out within hours. Customers on the email list get the announcement first, which is the difference between getting the chair and not.
Can I add custom accessories to a limited edition chair and do they ship with the same accessories as the standard model?
Yes. Limited edition chairs are compatible with the full Vyper accessory lineup (armrests, backrests, EZ-Lift, Big Boy attachment, tool trays, footrails, Sidekick). Many limited editions offer matching-color accessories during the drop window; once the drop closes, accessories may only be available in standard colors.
