Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.9 / 5 from 7325 reviews.
Sturdy and robust. Very comfortable. A little on the pricey side, but worth it!
Had a fun day at Vyperfest and got a GREAT deal on the best work stool on the planet. Looking forward to next years VYPERFEST!
finally a chair that works
My kids and I race in the garage on the super smooth casters. Man these chairs can glide!
This chair is very comfortable, those casters are amazing, I bought the set and I’m saving the short roller for my husband for Christmas, he has three of them all from other companies and they are crap!
Great build quality. Great instructions.
Very well built...wheels roll smooth...thick metal lots of bolts very sturdy at no time do I feel like like the chairs are unstable
Great product ! Heavy duty and made to LAST ! Gave it as a birthday present and he was very pleased and impressed ! Buying the tall chairs next !
I really like the chairs they are awesome. I wish I could have gotten the white and black chair that is all over facebook. I called to enquirer about it and was told it was a one off. Get it off of facebook if you don’t sell it. But great quality easy to put together. I highly recommend it. Thank you
The caster wheels were not as smooth as I had expected.
The best thing I ever did. I am so sorry that I wasted my money on junk stools.
My back loves this chair. Moving from. Standard shop stool that can’t role over a zip tie to this has been so nice.
Fast shipment on all the equipment. Looking forward to seeing it in action
“Buy once cry once” is right. BUT, I have never seen or felt anything in the garage that is such a quality build. It’s smooth, it’s tight, and it’s RIGHT.
Great quality, super heavy duty. The seats are super comfortable and the frame is heavy duty metal. And I love It's Made in the USA.
I think this chair is overpriced for what it involves
Super high quality and I love spinning around in circles on this thing! So much fun! Definitely recommend.
We bought the Vyper Chair to replace the highly sophisticated 5-gallon bucket we’d been using in the powder booth… and holy hell, what an upgrade. It’s comfortable, rolls great, keeps everything we need right where we need it, and has quickly become one of those tools we didn’t realize we needed until we had it. Naturally, leaving it stock wasn’t an option. We gave it the full Powder Palace treatment with a custom powder coat job. We absolutely love this thing. It gets used every day in the shop, and after years of sitting on buckets, our backs and asses would like to formally thank Vyper Industrial. Now about that second chair… we’ve already got some ideas. 😎 — Powder Palace, Charleston SC
I got this for a disabled Veteran who loves to fix up cars for family & friends. He’s has surgery this year and may need more. This chair made all the difference in the world to him. I’m grateful for what he sacrificed for our country and I’m grateful to you for making a chair that causes him to do what he loves with less pain.
Old craftsman stool dumped me on the ground for the last time. Orderd a robust steel max e-z lift and liked it so much orderd the elevated steel max e-z lift they are pro stools
These chairs are THE BOMB! it supports my big butt and still rolls easily and quickly. I am not a "shop guy", my chair is my computer desk chair. It works!
Awesome chair very comfortable and sturdy
Excellent
I thoroughly enjoy my new chair. I have a trench drain in the middle of my garage floor and I can wheel right across it with no issues. Way more comfortable than my old one that I have had for years!
Video assembly has different parts than what is needed. So had to follow the directions provided in manual. Haven’t quite finished tightening the seat bolts. Need tools different from manual.
I have taken more than one tumble off a stool in 45 years as a tech and a couple since retiring. It is solid, comfortable and it will make working in my shop more enjoyable. My only complaint is that the tall stool I ordered is not here yet.
All the claims made by Vyper are true. This chair is built like a tank and is very comfortable. Yes, it is pricey, but you definitely get what you paid for with this Vyper chair. I plan on buying another one soon!
Was very excited when my chair got here compared it to my old one and decided it had to go into retirement, would only come out when someone stopped by not a very good host but don’t want to share my rock star it was a great investment for an older guy will be checking out the rest of your lineup
Buy once, cry once. This thing is built like a tank. You will not fall off this chair, it rolls like it's on ice.
Got the chair at vyper fest for a good deal, rolls smoothly, comfortable to sit on. Use it for the office, practicing guitar or working in my shop. Planning to get another in the future
High quality chair!
Love the stool it’s so sturdy and has great support.
Made to last!! Best construction ever. Made in America thank you.
Easy assembly, high quality, robust components. Comfort level is outstanding, worth every dollar.
Went to the shop and talked to the guys they were really friendly love talking to them and bought the chair. It went together nice and I’ve been using it. It is great.
Great chair
Got them put together, the assembly was easy, the directions were easy to follow. I'm still looking forward to using them more.
I love the chair, it’s well constructed and sturdy. It rolls beautifully, and is comfortable. It definitely met my expectations.
This is our second vyper chair purchase we love them
Great Stool, easy to assemble and Wonderful to use, A great value,
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before you upgrade.
What does a Vyper bundle include and how much do I save?
Vyper bundles are pre-configured packages of chairs, stools, creepers, carts, and accessories, paired the way buyers actually work, with savings up to $475 versus buying the components individually. Current bundles include the Complete Package, Fully Loaded Robust Steel Max, Fully Loaded Elevated Steel Max, Ultimate EZ-Lift Package, Elite Trio Package, Mechanics Bundle, DIY Bundle, Low-Pro Package and Dream Garage Bundle.
Each bundle is built around a specific use case, a detailer's setup, a mechanic's setup, a tall-workstation setup, a complete multi-position setup, so you don't have to figure out which accessories pair with which chair. The bundle is the workstation, fully spec'd.
Which Vyper bundle is best for a professional mechanic?
The Mechanics Bundle is configured specifically for working mechanics who cycle between multiple positions throughout the day. It pairs a Robust Steel Max (or Elevated Steel Max) for bench and workstation seating with a Lay-Down Creeper for undercar work and the accessories that turn each into a productive workstation.
For shops that also need mobile tool storage between bays, the Dream Garage Bundle adds the X32 tool cart and additional accessories. The Vyper team at (920) 301-3822 will configure a custom bundle if a stock package isn't a perfect fit for your workflow.
Which Vyper bundle is best for a detailer?
The Low-Pro Package and Complete Package are the most popular detailer bundles. They pair the Low-Pro stool (built for close-to-ground polishing, paint correction and PPF work) with a Sidekick tool tray and the accessories detailers actually use, cup holder, spray bottle holder, polisher holder.
For a fully equipped detailing setup including a creeper for wheel and rocker panel work, add the Mini Creeper. Detailers who work both inside and outside the shop often pair the Low-Pro Package with a Vyper Turbo Fan 24" for airflow during summer paint correction sessions.
Can I customize a Vyper bundle, or do I have to buy the pre-set package?
Yes. Vyper builds custom bundles by phone. Call (920) 301-3822 and a specialist will configure a package around your specific shop, work style and budget. The pre-configured bundles are the most popular pairings, not the only options.
If you need a chair, a creeper and a fan but no cart, Vyper will build that. If you need three Low-Pros for a detailing team, Vyper will price that as a custom multi-unit bundle. The pre-set bundles exist to make the decision easy for buyers who don't want to think about it.
Are Vyper bundles a good gift for a mechanic, dad, or shop owner?
Yes. Bundles are the most-purchased product category for gift buyers because they ship as a complete setup. The recipient unboxes a chair plus the accessories that turn it into a full workstation, not "a chair plus a list of accessories I should buy later."
Spouses, parents, kids, and friends shopping for a Vyper as a gift consistently land on the Complete Package or the Fully Loaded Robust Steel Max for this reason. Free shipping in the contiguous U.S., 30-day money-back guarantee and lifetime warranty on the steel frame mean it's a low-risk gift even at a higher price point.
What's the return policy on a Vyper bundle?
Vyper bundles ship with a 30-day, 100% money-back guarantee, identical to individual product purchases. If the bundle isn't right for your shop, send it back within 30 days and Vyper refunds the full purchase price.
The lifetime warranty on the steel frame, hardware, and casters applies to every product in the bundle. 5-year coverage on cushions, mechanisms, and finish.
Do Vyper bundles ship as one package and how long does delivery take?
Bundles typically ship in 2 to 4 boxes depending on the configuration, chairs and stools ship in their own boxes, the X32 tool cart ships flat-packed and accessories ship together. All packages typically arrive within 3 to 7 business days of order date for contiguous U.S. delivery.
Bundles ship from Green Bay, Wisconsin. Tracking is provided for every package. If a bundle arrives with anything missing, damaged, or wrong, call (920) 301-3822 and a real person at the headquarters picks up.
Gear worth your workspace.
Build your dream garage with chairs, carts, creepers and fans that are guaranteed to outlast anything else in your shop.
