We will make every effort to replace limited edition or discontinued products / parts but cannot guarantee their availability for replacement.

This policy protects against the 1% who might abuse the program. If you use this fairly, you'll never have an issue.

Vyper Total Protection covers accidental damage, misuse, and wear & tear under reasonable use. We define reasonable use as:

  • Using the product as intended in a shop/garage environment
  • Normal wear and tear consistent with product age and use frequency
  • Accidents and mishaps that occur during regular operation

We do NOT cover:

  • Intentional damage or destruction
  • Repeated claims for the same issue that could have been prevented
  • Claims that appear designed to "upgrade" to a new product without legitimate damage
  • Products / orders that were not purchased on www.vyperindustrial.com, and products that do not have an order number

We reserve the right to:

  • Request photos or return of damaged product for inspection
  • Limit claims to a reasonable number per year (typically 1-2)
  • Cancel coverage if abuse is detected

We trust our customers, and 99% never have an issue. This policy protects against the 1% who might take advantage.

What's the difference between my standard warranty and Vyper Total Protection?

Your standard 5-year warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, if something breaks because WE messed up, we fix it.

Vyper Total Protection covers everything else: accidents, misuse, fires, etc. If YOU damage your chair (or life happens), we replace it (or parts) immediately.

Think of it this way:

  • Standard Warranty = "If we mess up"
  • Total Protection = "If you mess up OR life happens"
Do I always get a brand new chair, or just parts?

It depends on what happened:

  • Component damage (torn seat, broken caster, bent part, failed gas lift) → We ship the replacement part
  • Catastrophic damage (chair / product fully destroyed) → We ship a full replacement
  • Multiple failures (seat + gas lift + casters all failing) → Will depend if our team deems the product unusable

Most claims are parts-only because most damage is specific to one component. But if your chair is toast, we replace the whole thing.

Can I just claim "wear and tear" every 2 years to get a new chair?

No. Wear and tear means legitimate component failure (seat foam compressed, casters worn, etc.)—we'll ship the part. If you're trying to game the system for free upgrades, we'll catch it and cancel your coverage. We trust 99% of customers; this protects against the 1% who'd abuse it.

Does this replace my standard warranty?

No, it ADDS to it. You still have your 5-year warranty on defects. Total Protection covers what that doesn't (accidents, misuse, destroyed product).

Does this cover Limited Editions or Custom Vyper chairs?

We will make every effort to replace limited edition or discontinued products / parts but cannot guarantee their availability for replacement. Any limited edition or discontinued product / parts still under its applicable warranty that cannot be replaced with an identical product / part will be replaced with a similar or equivalent product / part or color based on availability.

Any custom embroidered seats still under its applicable warranty will be replaced with a standard seat. 

What if I already have a warranty claim in progress?

Your standard warranty claim proceeds as normal. Total Protection is for future incidents after you sign up.

Can I add this after I've owned my Vyper product for years?

You can add Total Protection to any Vyper product purchased within the last 2 years. Once enrolled, coverage continues as long as you maintain your subscription.

What if I buy a second Vyper chair later?

It's automatically covered! Total Protection covers ALL Vyper products you own, not just one chair.

How do I cancel?

Email us anytime. No fees, no penalties. Understand that by cancelling your Vyper Total Protection, all of your Vyper products will not be covered outside of our standard warranty.

Do I have to ship the damaged chair back?

Nope. Keep it, fix it yourself, scrap it, donate it, whatever you want.

In some cases, we may provide you with a shipping label to return it to us for review.

Is there a limit to how many claims I can make?

Nope. Unlimited replacements (within reason, however, we reserve the right to cancel if someone is clearly abusing the program).

Does this cover theft?

No, theft is not covered. This is for physical damage only.
