Its not as special as I thought it might be
Was a little hesitant because of the price, but its just as high quality as advertised.
The chair itself is great. It’s very strong, well-built, and durable. It honestly looks and feels like something that will last a lifetime. The assembly directions, on the other hand, leave a lot to be desired. I wouldn’t waste much time trying to follow the paper instructions because they really don’t tell you much. Go to their YouTube channel and watch the assembly video instead. It makes putting the chair together much easier. My biggest complaint is that I really think the tool holder should be included with the chair rather than being an accessory you have to purchase separately. After all, having your tools and parts within reach is kind of the whole point of a mechanic’s shop chair. For the price of the chair, I think the tool holder should be standard equipment. The chair is a little on the expensive side as it is. If they included the tool holder and kept the price the same, I think it would be a very good deal. Overall, though, the quality is excellent and I’m happy with the purchase.
My husband has wanted to purchase this chair and we finally ordered it. He absolutely loves it, especially moving around the garage and in the basement. Makes things so much easier for him, as he has mobility issues. Fantastic chair!!!! Would recommend it to anyone.
This was an anniversary gift for my husband. He's having a new shop built, and I felt he just needed a good, comfortable place to put his rear once the shop is complete. This man never gets excited over anything. He was excited to get this chair and the add-ons I included!
Delivery was slower than advertised, but worth the wait! This thing was actually fun to assemble, they provided grade 5 and grade 8 bolts to do it with! Truly built to last. Have a good hold on this chair when you sit down, it will take off on you, or you can lock 2 of the casters.

When I initially saw the ad for a Viper stool: my first thought was “ there is no way I would spend that much money on a shop stool!” So I watched the ads for two years and last week I purched 3 of them. We have a smaller industrial shop with 7 employees. The first stool arrived and the quality is infinite. Very well thought out, all serious steel construction, very strong standard hardware. My wife and I are both disabled, she has knee and hip problems and I'm an amputee. We needed a chair to use in the kitchen and to move throughout the apartment. We had already gone through two office chairs that didn't hold up like they said they would, they both broke and were thrown in the trash. We bought the Steel Robust Max with the Big Boy attachments, I was tired of wasting money on cheap flimsy chairs. The Vyper chair is AWESOME!!! My wife, who uses the chair the most, LOVES IT. Because of the price, we were a little hesitant at first about buying the Vyper Chair, but we're glad we did. The chair is built like a tank and yet it glides across the floor with ease. My only regret is... "Why didn't I get this sooner?" What an amazing chair. Easy to assemble, well made, does everything Vyper advertises. Rolls effortlessly, and is as comfortable as it looks. Very pleased. I may need to order an additional so my wife or my friends can't steal mine when they are hanging out in the garage while I work on their vehicles. If you are on the fence about this chair / stool or any of their garage products, I highly recommend getting off the fence and get one of these chairs or stools. You won't be disappointed.

Purchased for the renter who farms some ground for me. It’s his 76th birthday and he shows 2 custom Vehicles at custom shows. Thought he could use something nice to help save his body when he is doing show prep.
Wonderful addition to my shop. Wish I had bought one when they first came out years ago. Well worth the money, and I may buy another later on . I like the idea that is expandable and I can add sides to it . beautifully made, easy to put together, just follow the instructions. after falling off two smaller, cheaper stools- . This is money well spent .I recommended one to all my friends . Buy a cheaper unit that is not as effective, doesn’t roll as well, and either ends up breaking or you ignore it .. spend the money. Buy the best . 5 star product and excellent value . Should last a lifetime with minimal care !
The chair is very high quality and was very easy to assemble. Haven’t had much of a chance to use it yet nut very comfortable
Great product, we pulled up A youtube video to help with puttung tye chair together it helped a lot.
Well packed, arrived undamaged. Lots of parts and bolts!! Took awhile to assemble and reassemble. Recommend watching the appropriate assembly video several times. It is very freewheeling and comfortable . I like everything but the price!

Excellent product that is built to last. Only recommendation is to put torque specifications on the assembly instructions. Its would prevent over torturing of mounting hardware in the seat area that I am sure happens. Extremely satisfied with the chair.
Biggest problem is there should have been a video assembling the Freedom chair. For a girl assembling by herself, it would have been a bigggg game changer if the parts bags which are confusing if you would also put the number on it also that reflects in the assembly book. Having the item numbered would have been a faster to assemble. Really would appreciate you considering this be done on all parts bags. Love my chair but it was confusing for a girl.
I had one of the shorter chairs which is great but I some leg issues and it was painful to stand up from it. I got the taller one which has the same greatness but easier for me to sit down and stand up. My wife is happy as she got the shorter one. It is the right size as she is 5 ft tall, so it all worked out. I ordered easy lift kit for the taller chair which is a big win, and yes I will get one for the other seat as well.

At 79 years old I have busted my ass in my smooth floor shop numerous times over the years with small wheel rollers, sometimes not even trying to roll over something small like a gravel stone. Looked at your chair a couple of times and choked on the price. Last time, a few weeks ago I got dumped again I decided to bite the bullet and order. I was skeptical about ordering a shop stool this expensive, but it is absolutely worth it. Very comfortable and well built. The large casters make moving around the shop feel safer than anything I’ve used before, and the stool is just flat out comfortable to sit on. I’m so glad that I broke down and ordered this for myself. Now I’m trying to justify the cost for another one to use when I’m working in the basement.

Pretty easy to put together and rolls so smooth. Got the 250 edition... because, why not do it right. Would definitely recommend it if you can afford it, feels like a forever chair to me.
