Open Position: Warehouse Support Technician
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Friday

OVERVIEW:
Join Vyper as a Warehouse Support Technician! You'll play a key role in accurately packaging and inspecting products while efficiently using equipment like pallet jacks. Your attention to detail will ensure that every order is correct and up to our high standards. If you’re organized, quick on your feet, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment, this role is perfect for you!
DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES:
Packaging / Assembly
- Attentiveness while packaging boxes with correct parts
- Prepping the line for Work Order Needs
- Using equipment like pallet jacks to complete tasks throughout the warehouse
- Reading and deciphering Work Orders
- Confirming product information matches that of the Work Order
- Inspecting the merchandise for damage, flaws, and irregularities prior to packaging
- Withhold the company standard for packaging
- Keep the work area clean and organized throughout the day, and before leaving the facility
- Other duties are assigned by Warehouse Supervisor or Operations Manager
Fulfillment
- Attentiveness while picking correct product to match customer orders
- Using equipment like pallet jacks to complete tasks throughout the warehouse
- Reading and deciphering customer orders
- Confirming customer order matches with the product picked
- Keep the work area clean and organized throughout the day, and before leaving the facility
- Other duties are assigned by Warehouse Supervisor or Operations Manager
Metal Fabrication
- Grinding down welds on stainless steel rails to meet or exceed project and daily goals
- Safely operating the tube bending machine and vertical saw, while adhering to all safety requirements
- Keeping the work area clean and organized throughout the day and prior to leaving
- Verifying dimensions and product specifications throughout the fabrication process to ensure quality control standards are met
- Utilizing the automatic welder to complete parts before grinding/sanding stages
- Reporting any product or machinery malfunctions
- Assisting the CNC Operator with deburring and cleaning machined parts to meet standards before partial assembly
- Participating in warehouse projects and tasks as assigned
WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:
- High school diploma or GED; 18 years of age or older
- Previous experience working in a warehouse setting
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50-80lbs)
- Ability to stand and/or walk for up to eight hours a day
- Knowledge of warehousing standards and procedures is advantageous
