Dayne and Dylan Rusch started Vyper in 2020 from Dayne’s 400 sq. ft. apartment, having grown up assisting their father in the garage, Chris Rusch, who was a legend in the metal shaping industry. They witnessed firsthand the challenges posed by poorly made products and the decline of American manufacturing. Determined to have a better future, they founded Vyper Industrial with a mission to produce high-quality, American-made garage products and to create thousands of jobs. With a focus on innovation and growth, our team is committed to achieving market leadership.
The Role:
The Influencer Manager leads Vyper’s influencer and creator function, developing and executing program strategy within Vyper’s broader brand direction and business priorities. This role owns day-to-day program execution, growth, and performance, using creator insights, relationship building, and performance data to continually improve Vyper’s influencer program.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Vyper’s influencer and creator program strategy within broader brand and business priorities.
- Identify, evaluate, and recruit creators who align with Vyper’s brand, audience, and business goals.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with creators, influencers, and key voices across relevant communities.
- Manage creator relationships from outreach and product seeding through briefs, deliverables, approvals, usage rights, and campaign execution.
- Negotiate creator rates, deliverables, usage rights, and terms while managing activations against established budgets.
- Develop and maintain a strong, organized pipeline of creators, tracking relationships, activations, performance, and future opportunities.
- Coordinate influencer activations around product launches, campaigns, events, partnerships, and other company initiatives.
- Track, analyze, and report on influencer performance, including content output, reach, engagement, traffic, conversions, ROI, and overall program growth.
- Use performance data to identify high-performing relationships, optimize future activations, and recommend where Vyper should invest time and resources.
- Identify high-performing creator content and opportunities to extend its value across Vyper’s broader marketing efforts.
- Stay ahead of emerging creators, platforms, communities, and trends to identify new opportunities for Vyper.
- Collaborate across Marketing to ensure influencer activity supports broader brand and business objectives.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, or a related role, with a proven track record of building and managing successful creator programs and campaigns.
- A natural relationship builder who understands how to develop genuine, long-term creator relationships rather than treating every activation as a transaction.
- A proactive operator who consistently identifies new creators, relationships, and opportunities without waiting to be told where to look.
- Strong understanding of influencer and creator performance metrics with the ability to connect activity to measurable results.
- Strong judgment when evaluating creator fit, audience quality, content quality, brand alignment, and potential value.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple creator relationships, deliverables, timelines, budgets, product shipments, and campaigns simultaneously.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and follow-through skills.
- A genuine interest in automotive, motorsports, garage, enthusiast, or adjacent culture.
