The Elevated Steel Max was strategically designed by a group of welding-enthusiast engineers to provide them hours of comfort and eliminate their constant problem of tipping while rolling. For the cherry on top, they added a perfectly angled backrest to support the lower back, reducing that annoying back pain.
Every single detail of the Elevated Steel Max - from the perfectly angled backrest to the "roll-over" 4-inch casters to the thick, comfortable seat - has been tested, proven and hand-crafted in our US facility. All to deliver the most comfortable shop chair of your life.

We were sick and tired of those paper thin seats, so we made Vyper Chairs with a seat that resembles a cloud. The seat is made with 3.5" industrial grade foam and a flame resistant cover, being able to withstand any environment you plan on using it in.

Sick of falling over by running over a zip tie? Sick of wheels clogging from debris? So were we.
The Elevated Steel Max is equipped with five, 4" industrial grade casters (wheels) that can roll over any surface, helps prevent injuries from tipping and prevents floor scratches.
Also equipped with a stainless steel foot rail to provide better posture and help prevent tipping.

QUESTIONS
Below are some frequently asked questions we receive about the Elevated Steel Max models.
All of our chairs are built with American Made with 3/16" laser cut steel arms, constructed to support up to 400 lbs.
Elevated Steel Max - Quick Height: adjustable from 24" to 24"
Elevated Steel Max - Acme Rod: adjustable from 28" to 32.5"
We have two different height adjustment mechanisms:
Acme Rod: to adjust the height, all you do is simply spin the seat to go up, and spin it the other way to go down
Quick Height: to adjust the height, all you do is lift your weight off of the seat, grab the seat on both sides and lift up. To decrease the height, all you do is lift your weight off of the seat, hold the bottom of the seat and pull the lever in the middle to adjust to your desired height. This method is very similar and just as fast as a hydraulic lift.
Both are great options and are very sturdy. We went with a mechanical design for both simply because hydraulics tend to fail often.
The Acme Rod adjustment utilizes an acme rod to adjust the height, meaning to increase or decrease the height, you simply spin the seat for adjustment.
The Acme Rod is great if you don't plan to adjust the height of your chair too often.
The Quick Height adjustment allows you to quickly adjust the height of your Vyper Chair by simply lifting up on both sides of the seat. To decrease the height, simply hold the bottom of the seat and pull the lever to adjust to your desired height.

Nope! We were sick and tired of that as well so we equipped all of our Vyper Chairs with 4-inch industrial grade casters that glide over any surface!
All Vyper Chairs are equipped with 4" industrial grade casters made out of a polyurethane material.
Therefore, our wheels will not scuff your flooring.
